Most Americans, fooled by liberal education and the press, believe that the government’s goal is to provide them with a free and peaceful existence. But this does not always work out because some problems arise, bad people strive for power, and so on.
We learned to understand the language of bureaucratic ideology back in the former USSR. The rules are straightforward: listen carefully to what the villainous ideologists say most persistently, using the techniques of suggestion and manipulation, and understand precisely the opposite.
In 1792, Jefferson and Madison created the Democratic-Republican Party, and in 1825 it split into several fractions, one of which was called the Democratic Party. In 1854, the Republican Party appeared, and the two parties separated. Republicans mostly represented the “marketers of the North” – merchants, entrepreneurs, industrialists, successful farmers, i.e., the middle class.
Usually, the word “corruption” (from Latin corruptio: bribery, venality; damage, distortion, decay;) is understood as the actions of individual bureaucrats, or relatively small groups, for example, the use of power for personal gain.

We grew up in the USSR under the communist regime. When we arrived in the United States in 1993, we were sure we would support the Democratic Party, considering it an antithesis to the communists. Doubts appeared when we began to understand better what was said on TV. The speeches of the Democrats and President Clinton in that remote 1993 somehow smelled of socialism.
